What Every Client Needs to Know for the Best Engagement Photos With Your Dog

I love using my twenty years experience of being a professional photographer to help prepare my clients for our time together. I want to maximize every minute of our session and make sure that they truly enjoy the experience (and the photos that will be captured!) That’s why I want to pass on 4 tips for the best engagement photos with your dog.

4 Tips for the Best Engagement Photos With Your Dog

I love using props during photo sessions to make the photos more tailored to the couple’s personalities. The possibilities are endless balloons, flowers, bicycles, vintage cars, and champagne just to name a few. One fun way to make your session unique to you as a couple is to bring along your fur baby. Here are 4 Tips if you choose to bring your dog along to ensure a smoother photography session.

1) Don’t forget to bring doggy potty bags
2) Treats for a little bribery
3) A cute leash and collar
4). And lastly if possible bring an additional person to hold the leash of your pup for when we do a few photos minus your four-legged best friend. If we are headed to the beach a twistin stake for the sand will do. Furthermore, you could always have a friend take your pup home halfway through our time together.
