Recently, I had the joy of capturing an incredibly sweet proposal that took place high above the city, where the views are just as breathtaking as the love story unfolding.
A Rooftop Surprise at The Dewberry Hotel
The proposal took place at the iconic Dewberry Hotel, a Charleston favorite for its sophisticated style and stunning rooftop lounge, the Citrus Club. The views of the city from the rooftop created the perfect setting for this special moment. As the sun began to set, the soon-to-be-engaged couple stood on the rooftop, lost in the magic of the moment. And then came the big “yes!”
But that wasn’t the only surprise. After the proposal, the bride-to-be was led to the Citrus Club, where she was met with the joyous cheers of her family, who had been waiting to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. The excitement, the tears, the joy… it was such a beautiful experience to witness and document.
